After years as a rock radio DJ for stations around the country, Jools stopped spinning tunes and started singing (and writing) ’em. Born and raised in Mpls (Lake Harriet), her first rock radio job was in Tucson, Arizona—B.B. King was the first of many music legends she interviewed over the years. She frequently sings at blues and rock jams throughout the Twin Cities, and is a fan of spicy food, whiskey and spiders. Jools did not list all her past bands because ‘old bands are like old boyfriends—that was then, Solid Alibi is now!’
